Meet Our President:
John Dixon
John Dixon began his insurance and financial services career 33 years ago, immediately upon graduating with a business degree from the University of Maryland in 1988.
During his time in the financial services industry, John has served as a Financial Advisor, Sales Manager, and Managing Partner, being recognized with numerous company and industry awards at each level.
John started Chesapeake Insurance Solutions with the purpose of building a diversified financial services firm on the foundation of a large, mature Property and Casualty Agency. The Agency currently serves more than 5,000 individuals and families. The objective is to continue to be the preferred provider of insurance solutions for those existing clients while regularly cultivating new relationships.
John has always been active in the community. Causes that he has donated his time and energy to include the Washington DC Chapter of Entrepreneurs Organization, The Holy Cross Hospital Foundation Board, The Josh Norman Stars 24 Foundation Board, and the Olney Boys and Girls Club. He enjoys spending time with Sherri, his wife of 25 years, and their 3 sons. He is an avid skier, fly fisherman, tennis player, and bad golfer.
